New TVS Moped Spotted Testing

In this modern era, TVS is still selling the old-school Mopeds as one of its source of incomes. As being affordable, these mopeds are still popular among those who cant afford bikes and automatic scooters. Being the one and only Moped manufacture in India, the company sells only a single model which is christened as TVS XL HD - 2 Stroke. However, there are two mopeds made available for the global market, one is mentioned above and the other one is TVS XL Super. Recently, a new moped was spotted, which looked like the revamped version of one of the above two models. These were 5 mopeds, which were seen when the company was testing their performance and power.

The spy shots suggest that the mopeds will sport minor changes. The moped is still sporting the old-school designing like the round headlights. The long running seat for the rider and the co-rider was ending with an upside down U-shaped grab bar which was also placed in order to provide back support to the co-rider. The same old spoke wheels were also there with the smooth black muffler.

The rider of this moped were carrying some bags and stuff and at the end of the seat, the bike was tied with a bottle which might be carrying fuel to test the mileage of the machine. This moped might also get powered with the same engine which is in TVS XL HD - 2 Stroke. It is a 69.9cc engine which has the top power product of 3.5bhp and top torque value of 5Nm. Nothing more was observed but it seems that the company is on the edge to launch another moped in the market.
