Mahindra Two Wheelers is all set to launch its new 110cc scooter, code-named as G101, on the 2nd September-2014. The scooter has also been captured recently with un-camouflaged front. The company is testing the scooter for a long time in India, however the test mule was covered through camouflage.

In the first glance, the scooter reminds of Yamaha's latest offering in the respective segment- Alpha. The scooter features a 'V' shaped headlamp with twin positioning lamps. Besides, sharp turn indicators are integrated with the aerodynamic front apron.

The new Mahindra scooter is expected to house a 106.7cc MCi-5 engine with a continuously variable transmission. Power output of the forced air cooled motor will be around 8bhp and it will share the advanced features with the company's top selling bike- Centuro.

Apart from the latest features like remote flip key, Mahindra's 110cc scooter will also get all the common features of automatic scooters. The company is expected to price the scooter very competitively around Rs. 44,000.

Do not purchase this scooter

This is the worst scooter. I mean I have never seen any other scooter with such bad performance it breaks down every single day it doesn’t start in the morning even with a full tank of fuel after having it serviced it still breaks down I’ve had countless problems. I recommend not to buy gusto it’s my only means of transportation and its performance is so bad as to waste money.Read More
