TVS has launched their much-anticipated flagship - Apache RTR 200 4V in India. The bike will come in three variants and will be available in following seven colours - Matte Black, Matte Grey, Matte White, Matte Red, Matte Yellow, Gloss White and Gloss Black. TVS Apache RTR 200 has been priced at Rs. 88,990 for the carbureted version, Rs. 1.07 lac for the fuel-injected version and Rs. 1.15 lac for the ABS & Pirelli tyres equipped model (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi).

TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is powered by a 197.75cc, single-cylinder, four-valve, oil-cooled, fuel-injected engine that is linked to a five-speed transmission. The engine generates 20.7bhp of maximum power at 8,500rpm along with a peak torque of 18.1Nm at 7,500rpm. On the other hand, the carbureted variant will churn out 20.2bhp of maximum power. The bike claims to do 0 to 60kmph in 3.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 130kmph.

The 200cc Apache has been equipped with telescopic forks up front and a KYB monoshock at the rear, which the company has used for the first time in any of its bike. The braking is done with the help of 270mm front and 240mm rear disc brake, with a dual-channel ABS as an option. TVS Apache 200 rolls on Remora 90/90-17 R17 front and 130/70 R17 rear tyres that come mounted over stylish 10-spoke alloy wheels. The bike also gets Pirelli rubber in the premium trim along with dual-channel ABS.

Talking of design, the bike looks more aggressive than its younger mates in the latest teaser image and comes inspired from the Draken Concept showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo. The front now loses on semi fairing and the bike comes across as more of a streetfighter. The 12-litre fuel tank has been extended and is given stylish air scoops for enhanced visuals.
