Prashant Hajare, a sales executive at Tata had recently purchased his 2025 KTM 390 Adventure. He had come to the KTM Pro-XP event in Mumbai to experience the bike the way it is meant to be experienced, riding offroad. The experience was a very transformative one according to him, and has removed his fear of offroad riding. Here’s what he had to say.
The Need For Adventure
Prashant lives in Badlapur, and according to him the roads there are not as good as they are in Mumbai. So an adventure bike which can handle bad patches of road was something he had been looking for. He decided to go with the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure, as he wanted more power and performance than his previous bike.
He told us that he sold his old bike because he had outgrown it, and wanted something that can offer a lot more power. The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure gave exactly what he was looking for in that department.
Prashant has also been interested in offroad riding since last year, and before this he was mostly into touring. Now, he wanted to explore this passion a lot more so having a bike with a suspension setup that can handle offroading was another important thing he wanted in his bike.
What KTM Does Different
When we asked what KTM did differently, he said, “KTM’s servicing is something I really liked, the servicing happened perfectly”. Another thing he loved about KTM is the power, he said “KTM has power, and in terms of power KTM is the best”. The suspension is also something he loved. He said, “the soft suspension tuning has made it easy for me to ride over bad roads without feeling any of the bumps”.
How KTM Pro-XP Made An Impact
The biggest fear a rider has when going offroad is the fear of dropping one’s bike. This is more so the case when riding one’s own bike. This is where Pro-XP made a difference according to Prashant.
Being able to ride a test ride unit, that too on the offroad riding course at Hashtrack52, gave him immense confidence. “The experience was fabulous and my fear of offroad riding is now gone”, he said and further added, “Now I have got the experience, I will be able to ride my own bike offroad”.
Overall, being able to experience the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure in its full glory really made a big difference. Now, Prashant will be able to experience a new way of motorcycling than just daily commutes and touring.

- Ready to Adventure.I also have a Duke, Adv has covered all the issues which I have faced on Duke when I use to go on long rides, Ride is also plush coupled with a great engine which proves itself on all grounds. Also it has a decent fuel efficiency considering its engine performance. Bike's comfortable its mileage is also good I get a decent range, but the engine won't feel as raw as BS4 duke, great electronics and safety. Just having engine oil consumption on higher side. Also the Trampler tyres give more life than Turanzas which came initially. Long hauling person should definitely buy this bike, long rides are so hassle free.
