The Japanese auto maker- Kawasaki has introduced a special edition of its Ninja 250 ABS in Indonesia, which has been put on sale as a limited edition  for IDR 68.6 million (approx INR 3.47 lac). Besides the standard features of the motorcycle, the new edition gets a tall smoked windshield, frame sliders, wider rear wheel & tyre, a rear seat cowl and ABS standard. Along with these new features, the bike also gets a sportier and dynamic paint scheme and costs around IDR 10.4 million (approx INR 52,583) more over the standard version.

Apart from these new updates, Kawasaki Ninja 250 ABS Special Edition has all the specifications similar to its standard trim. The bike retains the 249cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin mill with dual throttle valve fuel injection system. There is no additional tuning has been made to the engine as well and it continues to make 31.56bhp of power at 11,000rpm and a peak torque of 21Nm at 10,000rpm. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed transmission with slipper assist clutch system that comes with some high-end racing machines.

The Limited Edition of Kawasaki Ninja 250 ABS runs on the same lightweight split-spoke alloy wheels that are used in the standard model. However, the special edition gets new Bridgestone Battlax S20 tyres, 150/60 section at the rear and 110/70 section up front. The bike comes with 290mm front and 220mm rear petal disc brakes with a dual-piston calipers on each and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as a standard feature. The suspension set-up of the bike comprises of 37mm telescopic forks at the front and a Uni-Trak gas-shock at the rear.

We hope that like the Indonesian Ninja 250 ABS, Kawasaki may introduce a limited edition of the Indian spec Ninja 300 soon for the Indian enthusiasts.
