Last month, the Gujarat government announced the ‘Gujarat Electric Vehicle Policy 2021’ in a bid to boost EV adoption. Now, Joy e-bikes has announced that four of its products-- Gen Next, Wolf, Glob and the Monster -- are eligible for a subsidy of Rs 12,000 on the ex-showroom price. However, the subsidy is applicable only for students from class IX up to college. Here’s what the pricing looks like:

Nevertheless, this move has made electric two-wheelers more affordable for the young and new riders. Last month, Revolt Motors too announced its massive price drop for RV400 for its customers in Gujarat.
