The quarter-litre segment in India is an interesting one. But there aren’t any bikes that boast of as hair-raising and exciting performance as the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R. And even though Kawasaki India will not take the plunge and bring one to our shores (because, expensive!), a YouTuber named BeerBiker Samy has shipped one here.
Apparently, he fell in love with it on an international trip and decided to purchase it, bringing it to his home in Kolkata. While it’s not the 2023 iteration that was launched in Thailand earlier, its analogue needle (instead of a TFT) in a constant circular dance is joyous to watch.

Its 249.8cc inline-four mill makes a massive 51PS and 22.9Nm. Beneath it is premium Showa suspension and disc brakes. Plus, it is packed to the gills with features. Sounds exciting, no? Well, given that it’s priced at 105 million RP in Indonesia, the bike could very well cross the Rs 12-lakh mark if you intend to import it as well.
