The hype for the Ola S1 and S1 Pro is real. At a starting price of Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom, including FAME II subsidy), the S1 undercuts all of its primary rivals, which includes the Ather 450X, Simple One, Bajaj Chetak and the TVS iQube. It also has a lot going for it, be it the range, top speed or the truckload of features. Those who've pre-booked the scooter will be given priority during deliveries which are slated to take place in October. And for the others who still haven’t and are planning to, here are a few basic steps to reserve one for yourself.
