Honda to bring made for India bikes

Honda, the 100 per cent owner of HMSI (Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India) after went through split with Hero, is planning to bring the made for India two-wheelers. Honda is the world's most popular bike manufacturer and having from entry-level to superbike models. But now the company to launch more bikes in India which will specially be developed for Indian market.



At present, HMSI has Honda Activa, Honda Dio, Honda Shine, Honda Twister, Honda Unicorn, Honda CBF Stunner and Honda Dazzler popular bikes in India. But it is interested to lead the Indian two-wheeler market thus it will launch more bikes in India.

The company has created a big hype in market with the announcement of Honda CBR 250R with ABS and Non-ABS variants. Honda CBR 250R is the latest bike from Honda's stable and price for the model starts from 1.5 lakh. Booking has been started for the bike and will be launched in the month of April this year. Till now the company has received 1800 bookings for the bike in one month.

HMSI is spreading its wings across India and has a network of 398 dealerships and 392 branches in the country. To promote the Honda bikes, the company is launching new  programs and advertisements in the market and before the launch of Honda CBR 250R, it has launched a world wide Honda CBR 250R Flash Game. HMSI is following triple 'S' strategy to provide the better service for customers. In view to capture most of the share of Indian two-wheeler market, the company has announced a cheap entry-level bike and it might be launched in the year of 2012.
