Honda Sells 2.2 Lac Units on Dhanteras

Benefitting from the festive season, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) sold 2.2 lac units on the occasion of Dhanteras. Honda motorcycles including CB Shine, Dream and LIVO lead the pack with 53% of total sales. In scooter category, Activa emerged to be the leader recording a 50% hike in retails. To deal with high demand, Honda dealerships across the country opened at 5 AM in the morning and delivered two-wheelers till 11 PM.

Talking about Dhanteras sales, Mr. Yadvinder S. Guleria, Senior Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, HMSI, said, “The overwhelming response received during Akshay Tritiya, Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratra and now on auspicious Dhanteras proves that more and more customers are choosing to celebrate every festival with a Honda 2Wheeler.
