Honda CBR500R Four Showcased At EICMA 2026
And it also gets Honda’s e-clutch technology

After unveiling it earlier this year, Honda has now showcased the CBR500R Four at EICMA 2026 as well. In an era where manufacturers are moving towards middleweight sportbikes that have more ‘usable’ configurations like a parallel-twin, Honda has courageously gone the opposite way and given us a 502cc liquid-cooled inline-four screamer of a bike.

The Honda CBR500R Four makes 72PS at 11000rpm and 47.4Nm at 9750rpm. The focus, clearly, has been on power high up in the revs, making the bike’s intentions very clear: the more you rev it, the more fun it is. That’s mighty powerful for what is a 500cc bike.

The hardware is pretty standard, with 17-inch wheels, dual discs at the front, Pirelli tyres and a kerb weight of 189kg. Features wise, there’s a fancy looking 5-inch TFT with Bluetooth connectivity. There are 3 riding modes as well as 2 customisable modes.

Whether the CBR500R Four will come to India remains to be seen. In the international market, the CBR500R Four goes up against the likes of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR and the ZXMoto 500RR.
