Honda has just launched Honda CBR 250R in Indonesia, the bike will be used in MogoGP race bike. The bike Honda CBR 250R will participate in the this world championship and the three racer who will ride the bike are: Casey Stoner, Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso.

Honda CBR 250R is the newly launched most popular and flagship bike model by the company which is getting buzz response from market. It is the major competitor of Kawasaki Ninja 250R and available in two variants such as ABS and Non-ABS.
This Splendid bike is creating a record in the Indonesian market and PT Astra Honda is the major distributor of the company which sold out the 3.4 million of the bikes in the year of 2010. It is also sponsor of the Honda MotoGP bike and 'One Heart' and 'Satu Hati' logo will be pasted on the bike when it will run in race.
Honda CBR 250R is also going to launch in India in the month of April this year and HMSI which is an Arm of Honda Motors is getting booking orders form the Indian customers the bike. And booking for the bike is starts from Rs. 5000/- onwards.
The same version of the bike will be launched in Indian market which is running in Indonesian market. This is light sports motorcycle that is loaded with a 250cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, 4 valve, single cylinder engine that generates a top power of 26 bhp at 8500 rpm and max torque of 23 Nm at 7000 rpm with the help of 6 speed gearbox. And its special features are ABS system that is comprised of ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and CBS (Combined Brake System). The ABS variant of the bike will be available at price tag of Rs. 1.8 lakh while non ABS at 1.5 lakh.
On the other hand, another participator of MotoGP race are Mahindra and Yamaha; they have already launched their MotoGP Race Bikes.

These two models of Honda CBR 250 are more than 10 years old in world market, but at the same time other sports bike models like R 15, Kawasaki Ninja 250R etc are much recent models in world market. Price wise Kawasaki Ninja 250 is about double than CBR 250 (Rs.1,50,000) and power wise Honda is on higher side with 45PS when Ninja is 33ps. However after CBR 250 comes to Indian market within Rs.1,50,000 (probably ex. showroom) Kawasaki Ninja has to drop their price.
