All you need to know before booking the electric scooter

The Hero has recently launched the Vida VX2 with a bigger 4.4 KWh battery pack. If you are planning to book one. Here is everything you need to know about the electric scooter.

Booking Details 

Bookings are open on Vida’s official website. You can also book the bike through VIDA Hub Experience Center or select Hero dealerships. The electric scooter is also available on Amazon and Flipkart.

Convenience Features 

The Hero Vida VX2 Plus is equipped with a 4.3-inch TFT display which shows the speedometer, battery level, and range. It also features Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and call & SMS alerts. 

The scooter gets a spacious floorboard and decent leg space. It gets 27.5 litres of underseat storage, making the scooter practical for everyday use. The scooter also features removable batteries – adding convenience to charge it at home. 

Safety Features

On the safety front, the scooter gets a combined braking system (CBS) with a disc brake at the front and a drum setup at the rear. It lacks ABS and a hazard switch.

Colours

The scooter is available in 7 striking colour options: Autumn Orange, Matte Lime, Matte White, Metallic Grey, Nexus Blue, Pearl Black, Pearl Red

Motor and Powertrain 

The VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh is equipped with a 4.4 kWh battery and a 6 kW motor. It can do 0-40 in 3.1 seconds with a claimed top speed of 90 kmph and an IDC range of 187 km. 

The scooter comes with 3 riding modes: Eco, Ride and Sport, and it also gets a reverse feature which will be useful to manoeuvre in tight parking spaces.

It takes 65 minutes to charge it from 20-80 percent with a fast charger, whereas a standard charger takes 2 hours and 28 minutes.
