If Hero ever made a Karizma 300, this is exactly how it should look like

Remember the Hero HX250R and the XF3R? Well, here’s a quick refresher. The HX250R was a faired 250cc motorcycle developed with inputs from Hero’s erstwhile technical partner Eric Buell Racing that was unveiled at Auto Expo 2014 while the XF3R was a butch looking 300cc naked concept from 2016. While the concepts were tempting, to say the least, Hero disappointed us enthusiasts by deciding not to manufacture these motorcycles. If at all, these two concepts have taught us that Hero MotoCorp knows a thing or two about how to set our hearts on fire. And with 300cc motorcycles like the TVS Apache RR 310 and the Kawasaki Ninja 300 being all the rage these days, we can’t help but wonder what Hero would do if it were to reintroduce the Karizma nameplate in the country to rival those bikes. Thankfully, this rendering by Abin Thomas gives us a fair idea of how it might look.

Going by the rendered images, it is evident that the design is based on the last-gen BS4-compliant Karizma ZMR. The components seem to be inspired by a combination of different high-end motorcycles. The rendered image shows the motorcycle equipped with a premium Brembo twin disc setup and an inverted fork at the front, and a petal disc and a monoshock setup at the rear. The stock bike had a pretty wholesome fairing, and with some minor design changes, it feels right at home on the rendered motorcycle. The headlight cowl looks a lot more brawnier while the slightly taller and more aerodynamic windshield complements the overall theme of the bike.

While the tail panels are sleek, the license plate holder looks a bit too chunky for our liking. But overall, the rendering is quite ace. If Hero ever decides to make a 300cc Karizma, expect the manufacturer to opt for slightly less sophisticated underpinnings. That said, the rendering sets the right tone for a mid-capacity Hero and we sincerely wish that the manufacturer decides to put it into production unlike the HX250R and XF3R. What do you guys think?
