  • Thanks to the new variants, the Hero HF Deluxe BS6 is now cheaper than its launch price.
  • The new kick start variant is available with either spoke or alloy wheels.
  • On the other hand, the self start with alloy wheel variant now comes in an all-black colour variant too.
  • The existing variants have witnessed a price hike.

Hero MotoCorp has introduced three more variants to its venerable commuter motorcycle, the Hero HF Deluxe. The bike is now available with kick start with either alloy wheels or spoke wheels as variants, and the more premium self start with alloy wheels variant gets an all-black colour option too. Apart from these, the bikemaker has also increased the prices of the existing self start with alloy wheels (both with and without i3S technology) variant as well. Here’s a detailed price table:

Hero HF Deluxe Variants

Latest Price (ex-showroom Delhi)

Kick start with spoke wheels (NEW)

Rs 48,000

Kick start with alloy wheels (NEW)

Rs 49,000

All-black colour variant with self start and alloy wheels (NEW)

Rs 57,300

Self start with alloy wheels

Rs 57,175 (Rs 500 more expensive now)

Self start with alloy wheels and i3S technology

Rs 58,500 (Rs 500 more expensive now)

With the introduction of the new variants, Hero MotoCorp has brought down the entry price for the HF Deluxe. In fact, it is the most affordable BS6-compliant motorcycle from Hero now. When the HF Deluxe BS6 was launched, it was only available in two variants: with or without i3S. Both these variants feature self start and alloy wheels. The price hike of these variants come after the first hike that happened back in May 2020. Fortunately, the latest price hike isn’t all that substantial.

Apart from the difference in wheels, engine start options and i3S technology, the rest of the motorcycle is the same across all the variants. The Hero HF Deluxe is powered by a 97.2cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine which churns out 8.02PS at 8000rpm and 8.05Nm at 6000rpm, linked to a 4-speed transmission. Underpinnings include a telescopic front fork and 2-step twin rear shock absorbers. The bike comes to a halt using 130mm drum on both ends. Since it’s an entry-level commuter, there is no front disc even as an option.

With the new variants, the Hero HF Deluxe is also the most affordable 100cc fuel-injected motorcycle in the country. It competes against the Bajaj CT 100 and the Platina 100 in its segment. Apart from these three motorcycles, there are no other 100cc BS6-compliant bikes available in the country.
