Harley Davidson Fat Boy Turns 25 Years Old

Harley Davidson has been manufacturing motorcycle from over a century now and it is no astonishing news that its most popular bike – Fat Boy is celebrating its 25th birthday. Recently, we watched Arnold Schwarzenegger in his latest movie – Terminator Genisys riding this magnetic machine. It is undoubtedly one of the best cruisers available in the Indian two-wheeler market.

The 2015 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy has been loaded with a 1690cc, air-cooled, Twin Cam 103B engine that is mated to a 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission. The motor generates a maximum torque of 132Nm at 3,500rpm and returns a mileage of 13.99kmpl. The incredible motor keeps the ride buttery smooth and pleasant throughout.

The bike is also bestowed with Anti-lock braking system with 300mm disc brake with 4-piston caliper at the front and 300mm disc brake with 2-piston caliper at the rear. The Fat Dunlop tyres of 140mm front and 200mm rear enhances the grip and stability of the motorcycle. The ride feels very special due to the telescopic front forks and horizontal rear shocks.
