EXCLUSIVE: Bajaj Pulsar N150 Discontinued In India
With the Pulsar N150 now discontinued, Bajaj has also just launched a new variant of the Pulsar N160

According to our dealership sources, Bajaj Auto has discontinued the Pulsar N150 in India, after being on sale for almost two years. The bike has been removed from the official website as well. As per our dealer sources, they haven’t been taking in orders for the last couple of months or so, indicating the end of the line for the sporty 150cc bike.

Launched back in September 2023, the Pulsar N150 had similar looks as the bigger Pulsar N160 and these bikes also shared the underpinnings. It came with a 149cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which made 14.5PS and 13.5Nm. Unlike the N160 which gets a variant with inverted fork, the N150 had a conventional telescopic fork and a rear monoshock with preload adjustability.

This Pulsar had a 260mm front and 230mm rear disc or 130mm drum brake setup with single channel ABS. The features list included LED headlight and tail-light with halogen indicators, a digital instrument console with smartphone connectivity and SMS/call alerts. All these specifications and features made the Pulsar N150 a pretty decent motorcycle to consider.

However, its toughest competition was its own sibling, the Bajaj Pulsar N160 which offered more power and features for almost similar pricing. For perspective, the top-end Pulsar N150 cost Rs 1,25,862, whereas the just-launched Bajaj Pulsar N160 Single-piece seat variant with proper dual-channel ABS costs Rs 1,25,277 (both ex-showroom Delhi). This could be one of the key reasons behind the discontinuation of the Pulsar N150.
