A suspicious camouflage full faired bike has been spotted in Lavasa. While most of the portals are claiming that the bike is Bajaj Pulsar 200SS, a faired version of Pulsar 200NS, we still believe that it is the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 375. Our sources confirmed that the testing of the bike is almost complete, and Bajaj might launch the bike during upcoming 2014 Auto Expo, where they can also launch the FI, ABS version of the Pulsar 200NS.
Bajaj Auto earlier announced to launch 2 new Pulsar bikes, including a high capacity sport bike and a sub-200cc bike. So, the first will be the Pulsar 375, while the second offering will be might a 150 or 180cc naked Pulsar bike. Also, one of company official hinted for the launch of ABS version of Pulsar 200NS with FI, when we enquired him for KTM Duke 200 ABS version. These announcements proves that the bike in the picture is Pulsar 375.
Earlier there were reports that a Pulsar 180NS is on testing, which actually was the Pulsar 200NS ABS-FI, which will cost around Rs. 1.10 lakh. If Bajaj brings a full faired version of the 200NS, it will cost somewhere around Rs. 1.30 lakh, which doesn't makes any sense, while the Pulsar 375 is expected for Rs. 1.70 lakh.
Pulsar 375 will come with a 375cc, single cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve, liquid cooled, triple spark engine based on KTM Duke 390. The engine will use fuel injection technology for better performance and fuel economy. The new engine is expected to churn out a maximum power between 40-42bhp. It might use the frame of 200NS with a little modification and instrument panel and handle bars will also remain same. and ABS might be standard feature of the bike with its front and rear disc brakes.
The main competitor of the bike in the India market will be Honda CBR250R, which comes in the same price range. However, the CBR250R has a power output of 26bhp, which will be proven as an advantage for the Pulsar 375 SS.

Bajaj Pulsar 150 (2018-2026) User Reviews
Needed something dependable for daily city traffic that wouldn't eat up all petrol money. looked at a few other 150cc options but the pulsar 150 just felt like the right balance of price, low maintenance and that classic muscular look that never gets old. Honestly pretty smooth for daily running, engine has nice pickup in lower gears so overtaking in heavy trafffic is easy, getting a solid 45-50 km regularly, only slight downside is minor handle vibes past 85 kmph but for everyday city speeds, its steady and comfortable. Definitely 100 percent recommend it, if you want a reliable everyday bike with decent power and great fuel efficiency, maintenance is super cheap and spare parts are available anywhere. just a solid, no nonsense daily runner that gets the job done. I chose this bike because it feels smooth and stable on highways while still offering good control in the city, even though the suspension feels slightly stiff on rough roads. It gives good mileage, looks stylish and is comfortable enough for family rides, making it a practical and reliable choice. The ride so far has been very satisfying. It feels comfortable for daily use, gives good mileage and has strong pickup. Handling is stable and confident, especially on highways where it feels smooth and controlled even at higher speeds. Yes, I would recommend this bike. I bought it mainly for daily office travel and occasional weekend rides. It gives me decent mileage and the pickup is good enough for city traffic. On highways it feels stable and confident. The suspension is slightly stiff on rough roads but overall comfort is fine. If someone wants a practical, stylish and reliable bike in this budget, this is a good choice.Read More
