Everything We Know About The Aprilia RS440 Ahead Of Its Unveiling
It is expected to come loaded with some premium features along with a high-revving 440cc engine
What a start to this week! Yesterday, TVS launched the Apache RTR 310 and today, Aprilia is taking the wraps off the all-new RS4440.
The new supersport motorcycle gets sharp styling elements at the front while the rear looks really sleek, as seen on this teaser. We also know that the motorcycle will have an upside-down (USD) fork and monoshock suspension setup with an aluminium swingarm. It’ll have a fully-digital instrument cluster, likely to be a TFT unit with smartphone connectivity, which we got to see in these spy shots. From when it was spied abroad and shortly thereafter in India, we got a clear look at its twin-spar frame, rear-set footpegs and split-seat setup.
The Aprilia RS440 is expected to be powered by a high-revving, 440cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine and will probably get features like ride-by-wire, traction control, cornering ABS, and a quickshifter. Aprilia might price it around the Rs 4 lakh (ex-showroom) mark and its rivals will be the KTM RC 390 and the Kawasaki Ninja 400.

The twin cylinder engine is very tractable and the overall ride experience is fun! Definitely a head turner. The bike is very smooth and the engine is very responsive.
