Ducati Panigale V4: Old Vs New Compared
Let’s see how much more capable the 2025 Panigale V4 has become

Ducati India has recently launched the 2025 Panigale V4. The Italian supersport now has many new updates in terms of design, features and underpinnings. Let's see how it compares with the previous-generation model:
Price:
The 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 has been priced at Rs 29,99,000, that’s a price bump of Rs 2,26,400 over the previous model which cost Rs 27,72,600 (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Panigale V4 justifies the increase in its price with the advanced tech and features it now offers. More about them in the forthcoming paragraphs.
Design:
The new Ducati Panigale V4 gets a redesigned front end and LED headlights that have been inspired by the iconic Ducati 916, a litre-class supersport from the 1990s. In our opinion, the fascia looks less aggressive than the older bike which had large twin triangular ducts within which the projector LED headlights were housed. The winglets have now been designed for better airflow and are body coloured, making them look more cohesive than before. These changes along with the redesigned fairing makes the bike a bit more aerodynamic than before, and have better air-flow to the radiators. The new V4 also gets a redesigned double-sided swingarm for better stability and lightness as compared to the older single-sided one. While we love the snazzy looks of the single-sided swingarm, the newer one is all business, less fancy-looking.
Engine:
The bike is powered by the same 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine producing 216PS and 120.9Nm, which is 0.5PS more and 2.7Nm less than the previous model. It complies with the latest Euro 5+ emission norms, and offers a claimed mileage of 15.3kmpl, which is decent for a high-performance bike such as this one. The engine is paired to the same 6-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter and a slip-and-assist clutch. Ducati has used lighter engine internals making it lighter by 1kg.
Features:
The new V4 has been updated with a 6.9-inch TFT display as compared to the 5-inch one on the older V4. The new V4 also gets a new throttle borrowed from the Panigale V4 R for better throttle control. It is now equipped with Ducati’s new Race eCBS– ABS with cornering functionality with automated rear braking for increased control. Other features like the launch control, ride modes, power modes, traction control, wheelie control, slide control, engine brake control and pit limiter have remained the same but have been tuned to suit the 2025 Panigale’s dynamics.
Underpinnings:
The new Panigale V4 now gets a MotoGP derived aluminium front frame which is 17 percent lighter than the older bike. The new V4 gets 330mm twin front discs (10mm larger) and are grabbed by top of the line Brembo Hypure monobloc calipers which is a successor to the Brembo Stylema M4.30 found in the older-gen model. The suspension setup has remained unchanged, and gets a 43mm Showa inverted fork and a Sachs monoshock, both fully adjustable, but tuned differently in the 2025 model.
