Benelli TNT 25 is all geared up to make its Indian debut on December 18, 2015. Premiered at 2015 EICMA Milan, the bike will be placed below TNT 300 and will be the company’s most affordable offering. It will be imported to the country via CKD route and will be assembled at the Pune facility of DSK Motorwheels. With the launch of TNT 25, Benelli is planning to compete against KTM Duke 200.

Coming to the design and appearance, the bike boasts the similar headlamp design of its elder sibling, but with a fresh side cowl, tailpiece and fuel tank. The high-set handlebar of the motorcycle provides comfortable riding posture. The overall design is well balanced and sporty.

Powering of the motorcycle is done by 249cc, single-cylinder, liquid cooled engine that delivers the maximum output of 23.78bhp at 9,000 rpm and the highest torque of 21.5Nm at 7,500 rpm. This freshly built engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission unit and claims to attain a top speed of 145 kmph.

The Italian manufacturer has not compromised on the quality of its hardware. Built on a exposed trellis frame, it has inverted telescopic forks at the front and mono shock suspension at the rear. Both front and rear wheels are retarded by a single disc brakes. The bike is expected to be priced around Rs. 2-2.25 lac (ex-showroom).

Benelli is in the process to increase its market presence in the country. Currently, the company offers five motorcycles in India namely - TNT 300, TNT 600i, TNT 600GT, TNT 899 and TNT R.

Overall feedback

Overall experience is satisfying ...Good for long drives however turning radius is little big if you are driving in city traffic.. I bought this bike specifically for long drives and I did approximately 6 long drives so far and all turned out to be exiting. Always using shell unleaded petrol helped me to get good performance on the highways with decent millage.Read More
