TVS Raider 125 TFT DD Variant: All You Need To Know

It’s one of the most feature-loaded 125cc bikes currently in India

The TVS Raider 125 has become one of the most popular sporty commuter bikes in India, thanks to its sharp styling, peppy performance and feature-packed variants. At the top of the lineup sits the Raider 125 TFT DD, which brings in added safety over the lower trims. Here’s a simple breakdown of what this top variant offers and whether it makes sense for you.

Looks

The Raider already has a sporty design, and the TFT DD variant carries the same aggressive styling.

  • Sharp LED headlamp with LED DRLs

  • Muscular fuel tank with sporty extensions

  • Split seat setup for a sporty feel

  • Engine cowl and underbelly pan add to the premium look

  • Comes in a ‘Striking Red’ colour scheme with contrasting graphics

  • 17-inch alloy wheels with wider tyres than before (90-section front, 110-section rear)

While the design remains unchanged from other variants, the wider tyres and rear disc brake add to its visual appeal.

Features

This is where the TFT DD stands out the most.

  • 5-inch TFT digital console

  • Bluetooth connectivity

  • Turn-by-turn navigation

  • Call and SMS alerts

  • Voice assist

  • Ride statistics and mileage data

The screen layout looks modern and is easy to read in most lighting conditions, making it feel more premium than the LCD units seen on lower variants.

Other convenience features include:

  • LED lighting all around

  • USB charging port

  • Side-stand engine cut-off

  • A small storage space under the pillion seat

Safety & Hardware

The TFT DD brings important upgrades in safety compared to older Raider variants:

  • Single-channel ABS (front wheel)

  • Disc brakes at both ends

  • Wider tyres for better grip and stability

  • The bike continues with a telescopic fork and monoshock

These changes improve braking confidence, especially for new riders and during emergency stops.

Engine & Performance

The Raider TFT DD uses the same engine as the rest of the lineup.

Engine

124.8cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder

Power

11.8PS

Torque

11.75Nm

Gearbox

5-speed manual

It also gets TVS iGo Assist, which provides a small electric boost while accelerating, and Glide Through Technology, which helps the bike move smoothly at low speeds in traffic without any throttle input.

Our Take

The TVS Raider 125 TFT DD is aimed at riders who want a commuter bike that feels modern and feature-rich. The TFT display, Bluetooth functions, dual disc brakes and ABS make it one of the most tech-loaded options in the 125cc segment. If you just want basic commuting, lower variants may be enough. But if you like having more tech, better braking hardware and a slightly more premium feel, the TFT DD variant is worth considering. Good response from the customer

I bough this TVS raider in Jan 2026. Till now, i did not face any issues with it. This costs around 1.25 Lakhs including EMI. This can be a good commuter bike in 125cc bike models. E20 facility is also added in this bike. Handling is very good in this bike. I feel so comfortable when i ride on highways. I like rear foot support to provide comfort for pillion rider while having seat. Good mileage bike under 125cc bikes. This is kind of family bike with sporty look. City riding people can prefer this mostly. This is a best mileage bike under 1.25Lakhs. i would recommend to change the colour of ABS channel(red colour) to black. Read More

TVS- RAIDER

I choose raider because one of my friend suggested me to buy as this bike is good nice looks and good mileage. The solo seat version of the bike is very good looking like similar to pulsar and it feels very light weight to ride this bike. The ride with the TVS raider was amazing till now, no breaking points were given by this bike, still rides the same smooth and the sound of the filter of this bike is best. The disc provided is also good, breaks tyres, engines, every thing is very good. I would like to recommend this bike to everyone other because of its looks, smooth rides, pretty good disc, nice colours, best engines, nice mileage and more than that the trust on TVS. They have been creating beats like this for very long now.Read More

My experience with TVS Raider.

I wanted a bike with a decent mileage per litre because my work demands inter district commute. And after extensive search I found Raider. I wanted a bike that wasn't too boring for a mileage centred bike and this was my fair bet. Overall ride experience is satisfactory. Braking is bit off, that can be improved but if you're going in a decent speed, it shouldn't be a concern for you but if you're in a rush, it sure will affect you in one way or the other. But didn't have any bad experience till this day. Yeah, I'd recommend this bike but its safe, if you give it a test drive and make sure it's suited according to your needs. You should not feel bad after making the purchase in my opinion. But its a solid choice according to me.Read More
