Royal Enfield has unveiled the Flying Flea S6 in India, and this is the first time we are seeing the final production bike in flesh. It is the second electric bike from the Chennai-based manufacturer, and could be launched in India by late 2026. The bike has a retro scrambler design with its round LED headlight, the tear drop shaped tank and the overall slim profile. It looks one-of-a-kind as there are no other retro electric scramblers in India. The gold-finished inverted fork makes it look premium too!

The S6 uses a frame-mounted motor, chain driven with a massive rear sprocket for high initial torque - essential for off-road/ trail riding. The battery pack is finned for passive air-cooling, and uses a magnesium casing for optimum lightness without compromising on safety. It gets 6 riding modes, including a dedicated off-road mode, a custom mode for personalised settings; and a forward and reverse crawl mode.

While range and battery capacity figures are unknown, expect it to come with a claimed range of around 150km. The electric bike is suspended on a long-travel inverted fork and monoshock setup. It rolls on 18-inch aluminium spoke wheels at both ends with block pattern tyres. The bike gets disc brakes at both ends, with dual-channel switchable lean-sensitive ABS for extra safety.

It has a round touch screen enabled 3.5-inch TFT console, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It will offer smartphone and smartwatch connectivity for vehicle data/statistics aside from the regular full-fledged navigation and call/SMS alerts features. The brand is using an in-house developed operating system to run all these features. We expect the Flying Flea S6 to be launched by the early 2027, likely around Rs 2.30 lakh mark. The bike will be more of a niche product aimed at riders who are looking for a more premium electric scrambler experience with all the fancy features.
