The MT-15 V2 comes in six shades, and which one you pick also decides how much kit comes along with it

    Yamaha MT15 V2\

Yamaha sells the Yamaha MT-15 V2 in six colours, and this isn't just a case of pick-whatever-looks-best. A few colours are only offered on specific variants, so picking a shade actually determines which variant you get. Here is the detailed breakdown of the paint schemes:

    Metallic Black

    Metallic Black

Start with the base colour, priced at Rs 1,64,410 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the cheapest way into an MT-15 V2. It’s exactly what the colour name implies - all-black and no-frills. What it doesn't have is Y-Connect or the LED indicator, but they’re not really dealbreakers as such.

    Metallic Silver Cyan

    Metallic Silver Cyan

This colour is a bit costlier than the black one. It costs Rs 1,65,310, and the cyan panels against gold-finished forks make it look considerably sportier than the black despite the small price gap. Same catch applies here though: no Y-Connect, no LED indicators.

    Metallic Black DLX

    Metallic Black DLX

Priced at Rs 1,73,730. Yamaha brings back the same black as the base bike, except this time it comes loaded with Y-Connect and the LED flasher. Effectively, you're paying the difference purely for the tech, since the paint is identical to the cheaper option.

    Ice Storm

    Ice Storm DLX

White and black bodywork gets a glow-up with blue-finished wheels and the gold fork carried over from the rest of the range. It's arguably the most eye-catching of the white-based colours here, and it comes at the same price as every other DLX on this list.

    Vivid Violet Metallic

    Vivid Violet Metallic DLX

This one goes softer, purple blended into white rather than shouting for attention. If the Ice Storm feels a bit loud, this is the quieter alternative, still at DLX pricing.

    Ice Fluo Vermillion

    Ice Fluo Vermillion DLX

The newest as well as the oldest colour in the lineup, if you think about it. Yamaha used to offer it earlier, then it was discontinued. The shade then came back in May 2026. It’s a colour that actually makes you look twice. White and black up top, but those red-orange wheels do all the talking. Same DLX price as the rest, just a lot more presence for it.

We’d pick the Ice Fluo Vermilion. Unlike the other five, the wheels get a subtle hint of vermilion that gives them a genuinely cool, unique edge.

Unleashing the Beast within the V2
The Yamaha MT 15 V2 is a top pick because it offers a perfect mix of style and performance for city riding Many riders choose it for the aggressive look that makes it stand out on the road Another big reason is the Variable Valve Actuation technology which gives you great power both at low speeds and when you are pushing it harder. It is also very light and easy to handle in heavy traffic while staying very fuel efficient It basically gives you the feel of a much bigger sport bike without the high running costs or the heavy weight. The ride is typically described as sharp and exciting because the bike feels very light and responsive. The upside down forks provide great stability and a planted feel when you are leaning into corners You probably notice that the engine is very refined and stays smooth until the variable valve actuation kicks in around seven thousand rpm giving you a sudden boost of power. The seating position is upright which is great for visibility and comfort in city traffic although the seat can feel a bit firm on longer journeys. Overall it is a bike that makes every short trip feel like a bit of an adventure because of how quickly it reacts to your inputs. The Yamaha MT 15 V2 is a great choice because it gives you high end technology like a slipper clutch and upside down forks in a small and manageable package. The engine uses the same high performance DNA found in the R15 which means you get incredible speed and acceleration for its class while still getting amazing fuel mileage It is also one of the best looking bikes on the road with an aggressive design that turns heads everywhere Another big plus is the upright riding position which makes it much more comfortable for daily commuting than a standard sport bike It is basically the perfect combination of a practical city bike and a thrilling performance machine that is easy to maintain and hold its value well over time.

      Refined 155cc beast
Compared to other segment bikes its the most aggressive and refined bike I have ever riden, the weight of this bike is so light that even the mentioned torque and bhp seems not to be true, the power delivery of the bike is so responsive and the tech is so advance that the torque push can be felt post 7500 rpm. I own this bike for more than 5 years and never disappointed in this machine, the refinement and reliability of this engine is commendable. Kudos to Yamaha. The comfort level is not that great and wont recommend for pillion either unless you change the seat cushions, rest the riding posture is very comfortable and little bit aggressive which is a positive for cruising and aggressive riding. Overall comfortable and no such complaints for daily commute, for long rides, solo rides are comfortable but pillion rider will feel the discomfort. I would definitely recommend this bike for all the beginners who wants to flaunt the looks and aggression of entry level sports naked, It was my first bike and best decision of my life. Great mileage with ample of power.
