Revolt RVX: Features Explained
Gets a new console and more safety features than its siblings!
Revolt recently launched the RVX electric bike in India at a price of Rs 1,29,990 (introductory, ex-showroom). It offers a solid set of convenience and safety features. Here's all you need to know about them.
Convenience features
The major update the bike has received in terms of features is the addition of a new 3.5-inch colour LCD console, which houses the speedometer, trip meter, and a battery charge readout. The bike also gets Bluetooth connectivity for call and SMS alerts along with music controls. The screen displays a lot of information at once, which will feel cluttered when you give it a glance while riding. The bike gets 4 riding modes: Boost, Sport, City, and Eco, with the boost mode unlocking the maximum claimed top speed of 90kmph
Other features include all-LED lighting and a reverse mode for easy manoeuvring in and out of tight spaces. It gets a keyless start via a smart key along with a push-button start. There is also a vehicle locator (via a dedicated application) and a walk-assist function (helpful in case of a puncture, where the speed is capped to walk the bike), along with a small storage space under the “tank” for added convenience.
Safety features
While the list is quite small, the RVX has you covered with the basics. It gets a combined braking system and hill hold assist. However, we wished that Revolt had given the bike at least single-channel ABS or a hazard light switch.
