Quick Highlights

  • A production-ready unit has been spotted for the first time

  • Gets an authentic, low-slung Harley-Davidson cruiser design

  • To be unveiled at EICMA 2026

The Harley-Davidson Sprint 440 has been spotted for the first time ahead of its official unveiling at EICMA 2026. Here's a closer look:

Authentic Harley-Davidson Styling

The latest spy shots give us the clearest look at the production-ready motorcycle. It has a typical cruiser stance, with a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a wide handlebar, and a low-slung seat. It also gets a round LED headlight, an inverted fork, and forward-set footpegs that give it a proper Harley-Davidson character.

There are quite a few changes on the bike as compared to the X440 – a redesigned exhaust with a chrome shield, a raised rear fender, a long swingarm, and a chunky rear tyre. The instrument console is also mounted in the middle of the handlebar and sits much closer to the rider compared to the X440 models.

The bike was spied in multiple colour options, including black, blue, and a grey shade. We can also expect Harley-Davidson to launch the bike in more colours.

X440 Underpinnings

The Sprint 440 will be based on the same platform as the X440, sharing the same 440cc air/oil-cooled engine paired with a 6-speed gearbox. On the X440 & X440T, the engine makes 27 PS and 38 Nm and delivers strong low- and mid-range performance. We expect the Sprint 440 to be tuned with a little more bottom-end grunt to suit its cruiser character.

It also gets an inverted fork along with twin shock absorbers, while the bike rides on what seems to be a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear wheel setup, with disc brakes on both wheels.

In terms of features, the bike seems to get the same 3.5-inch TFT console as the X440 models. It will feature Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and call/SMS alerts. Like the X440, we could also expect a ride-by-wire throttle, ride modes, and traction control. The bike will also get dual-channel ABS and a hazard light switch as safety features.

BikeDekho Says

The Sprint 440 takes its design inspiration from the bigger models in Harley-Davidson's international range, such as the Nightster and the Low Rider S. Compared to the X440, which gets more roadster-inspired styling, the Sprint 440 will appeal to people who want an authentic Harley-Davidson look.

The Harley bike should be unveiled at EICMA 2026 in the first week of November. In terms of price, it is expected to be priced at around Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be positioned above the X440T, which is priced at Rs 2.87 lakh (ex-showroom). Upon its launch, it will compete with the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and the Honda Rebel 300.
