Similar looks as the more expensive Speed 400, but are the features same? We analyse

    Triumph speed t4 features

The Triumph Speed T4 is positioned as an accessible, no-nonsense entry into Triumph’s modern-classic lineup. With the shift to a smaller 350cc engine, the focus remains on simplicity and everyday usability, while most of the feature set stays familiar. Here’s a quick look at what features the Speed T4 offers:

    Convenience Features

The Speed T4 continues with a clean, premium-looking semi-digital instrument cluster. It combines a large analogue speedometer with a neatly integrated LCD console that shows key readouts like fuel level, gear position indicator, trip meters, odometer, and service alerts. The overall layout is minimal and easy to read, perfectly aligning with Triumph’s understated design approach.

When it comes to connectivity, things are straightforward. There’s no Bluetooth or navigation support on offer, which feels basic compared to some rivals. The bike stays true to its simple, rider-focused nature. That said, it does get a USB-C charging port as standard, adding a layer of practicality for daily commutes and occasional long rides.

The roadster comes equipped with all-LED lights. The headlamp, complete with integrated DRLs, gives this bike a modern touch while retaining its retro character. The LED indicators and tail lamp further enhance the premium feel. Another strong point is the switchgear, which feels tactile and well-built. The quality of buttons and finishes adds to the overall sense of durability and attention to detail.

    Safety Features

On the safety front, the Speed T4 comes equipped with dual-channel ABS as standard, ensuring confident braking across varied riding conditions. The braking hardware includes a 300mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc, offering a strong and progressive braking feel. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with wide, road-biased tyres that provide good grip and stability. The Speed T4 misses out on a ride-by-wire throttle and switchable traction control, both of which the Triumph Speed 400 gets.

Here is a quick features explainer of the 2026 Triumph Speed 400.

    BikeDekho Says

Overall, the 2026 Triumph Speed T4 still strikes a neat balance between classic appeal and modern-day essentials. It skips out on flashy electronics and focuses instead on core fundamentals like build quality, usability, and rider-friendly features, all of which make it a solid option for those who prefer a straightforward, premium motorcycle experience.

In a related development, Triumph also introduced the all-new Triumph Tracker 400 in India.

      New 349cc Speed T4
I brought this bike due to specification only, and to avoid a classic because already own a meteor 350. I needed a bike looks like Splendor but perform like a KTM, basically wanted a good street daily commuter. I did have other options like CB350RS, RE Guerrilla, TVS Ronin etc. I did liked the simple look, good specifications on paper and cheapest price in the segment. It's a mix feeling of goodness and regression. The mileage of this bike is 19 to 22kmpl, I never got more than that. Seat and riding posture are very painful due to low height configuration on front side. It should have given a 18 inch tyre instead of 17. The handle bar height should be equal to body. Seat is cheap and uncomfortable but I fixed by my own. Considering a handle bar raiser now but not sure yet. Performance is not equal to the specifications on paper. Feels like an overhyped bike just looks good. It's a big no for daily commute. If you have a collection of bikes and you wanted another one, yes you can go for it. It's really looks good kept in garage. One you ride, you will feel something is missing. Adding to the mileage figure, disappointment will raise more as I spent more price per KM and getting worst experience.

      Great Bike
I chose the triumph speed t4 for its power and road presence. It is a decent bike and I am glad that I chose this to be my first bike. Go for this bike without hesitation. Great comfort and handling overall. Also the exhaust symphony is great. The bike is comfortable for long rides although I did 2-3 rides with this bike. I can say, this bike has the perfect power and handling for a rider like me. The pillion comfort is a little bit on the bad side but is manageable. I recommend this bike because it has both looks and power along with its great performance and handling in both cities and highways. Gives a decent mileage on highway but a bit less in heavy traffic. Slick Bike.

A all rounder with a kick.
Most affordable, premium looking roadster with good low torque and overall great performance. I was confused between the CB350RS and this bike, but once I had a test drive, I'm really connected with this vehicle. Comfortable vehicle with back rest for the pillion. Riding triangle is not too aggressive neither too relaxed. Mileage is on the lower side but you kinda get used to it after a while because what it offers you by compromising on the mileage is amazing riding experience. If you are enthusiastic rider, this bike is for you. If you like a laid back riding, more cruising style, done go for it. On highway, it will easily give you 32 kmpl which is good. But in the city, it is just 23-25 kmpl in bumper to bumper traffic, in this case Hyderabad. If you are mileage conscious, this is not for you. But if you can compromise there, then you are gonna love this machine.
