The programme is split into Level 1 and Level 2. Level 1 covers the basics, such as riding posture, throttle and clutch control on loose surfaces, steering techniques, emergency braking, and riding on slopes.

Level 2 introduces more challenging drills, including sand and gravel riding, off-camber sections (areas where the ground slopes away from the rider, with the outside edge lower than the inside), hill climbs and descents, tight turns, figure-of-eight exercises, and recovery techniques. Those who own the larger GS models will also learn in detail about their bikes’ off-road riding aids.

Each batch will accommodate 40 riders: 20 on the G 310 GS (now discontinued) and 20 on bigger GS models such as the F 900 GS, ensuring tailored training. Sessions include classroom briefings and supervised riding on both tarmac and dirt, led by BMW Motorrad International Instructor Academy-certified trainers.

Participation is limited to registered GS owners with valid licences and full riding gear.

Much like KTM’s Adventure training initiatives, this programme helps riders improve skills while discovering the true potential of their BMW bikes.
