Quick Highlights:

  • Ather Konarc spotted testing under camouflage ahead of its launch

  • Spyshots reveal a 14-inch front and a 12-inch rear wheel

  • Gets a fully digital instrument cluster

The upcoming Ather Konarc has been spotted testing under camouflage, giving us the clearest look at the scooter so far. It will be launched at the Ather Community Day on August 29, 2026. Here's a closer look.

The Konarc's design resembles the EL01 concept that Ather showcased at its Community Day in 2025. From the spy shots, we can see a handlebar-mounted headlight along with a large LED DRL on the apron, giving it a more conventional scooter design compared to the Ather Rizta. From the side, it gets minimalist body panels, and we can also clearly see the pillion grab rail, which doubles as a small backrest as well. The sleek-looking LED tail-lamp completes the design.

A closer look reveals a cubby hole on the apron, which should improve practicality by providing storage for small items. The spy shots also show a rider and pillion onboard, giving us a good idea of the available pillion space. The pillion appears to be seated comfortably, suggesting that the Konarc should offer good comfort while riding two-up.

The spy shots also give us a clear look at the scooter's underpinnings. It gets a 14-inch front and a 12-inch rear wheel. The scooter features a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. We can also see a swingarm-mounted motor, the specifications for which are yet to be revealed. As of now, it is expected to be similar to the one found on the Ather 450 series but tuned differently to deliver smoother performance. We can also expect battery pack options between  2 kWh and  5 kWh.

The spy shots also reveal a fully digital instrument console. While its interface is not visible, we expect it to be a TFT unit with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, and the AtherStack 7 operating system.

BikeDekho Says

The latest spy shots give us a better idea of the Konarc's overall proportions, design, practicality, and underpinnings. However, its detailed specifications and complete feature list will only be revealed at its launch.

The Ather Konarc is expected to be priced between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the brand's first mass market family scooter. It will also be one of the first scooters to be built on Ather's new EL platform. Once launched, it will rival the Bajaj Chetak C2501, TVS Orbiter, and Hero Vida VX2.
