The Triumph Bonneville 400 has been spotted testing again. The test mule appears to be in a production-ready state. Here’s a closer look.
What We Can See
The upcoming Triumph bike gets the same large teardrop-shaped tank with an offset fuel-filler cap, a single-piece seat, and a peashooter exhaust as seen before. Even the taillight, round indicators, and large fenders remain the same as we have seen on earlier test mules.
All said and done, the new baby Bonnie’s silhouette will resemble that of the larger Triumph Bonneville T100 but have smaller proportions.
What We Know So Far
The bike will most likely be powered by the same 349cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine as the other 350cc models in Triumph’s India range. However, we expect the upcoming retro roadster to have a slightly different tune compared to the bikes in the Triumph 350cc range, with stronger bottom- and mid-range torque to suit the ‘Bonneville’ character.
From the previous spy shots, we know that the bike will get a telescopic fork with fork gaiters and twin shock absorbers instead of a monoshock. It also gets spoked wheels along with an all-new chassis and swingarm.
While the instrument console is not visible in the latest spy images, from the previous spy shots we know that the bike will get a new circular TFT console. This means the bike will most likely get Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and other connected features.
Expected Price & Launch Timeline
The upcoming 350cc Bonneville 400 will be a proper retro bike and stay true to the classic Bonneville styling. We expect it to be priced around Rs 2.5 to Rs 2.7 lakh (ex-showroom) and is expected to launch in October 2026, during the festive season. Once launched, it will rival the most popular bike in the segment, the Royal Enfield Classic 350, and other bikes such as the Jawa 350 and the Honda CB350.
