The updated KTM 390 Adventure X has been launched in India at Rs 3,03,125 (ex-showroom). , which is around Rs 12,000 more expensive than the previous generation model. Also, the updated bike was spotted at KTM dealerships around a week ago.
The updates on the bike are a new cruise control system, IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) for cornering ABS, switchable cornering traction control, and three ride modes: Street, Rain and Off-road.
More About the 390 Adventure X
The updated KTM 390 Adventure X’s engine and underpinnings have remained unchanged. The bike is still powered by the same 398cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which produces 46PS and 39Nm. It still gets a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear alloy wheels wrapped in a 100-section front and a 130-section tubeless tyres.

With this update, the KTM 390 Adventure X is now a more well-rounded package and the additional equipment makes it more comfortable and safer to ride. Also, the price hike is justified as the equipment you get is quite useful. But, now with this price hike, it has lost its ‘most affordable 390cc KTM’ tag to the 390 Duke.
As the bike has alloy wheels, most customers naturally consider the bike to be a more touring-friendly ADV. But the lack of a cruise control system was seen as a letdown. Especially when even the KTM 390 Duke had it. By now adding it to the new 390 Adventure X, KTM has sorted a major deficiency. The bike is now a lot more competitive when compared to rivals like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.

- Best in segmentI am doing long ride on week end also for lite affordable i see many other options like Himalayan 450 but bit heavy for me so I choose ktm adventure because it's light weight easy to ride on highway also good feature of electrical side. On highway I am getting mileage of 30 to 37 kmpl depends on engine rpm this bike effortlessly crush on 120kmph to 140kmph with any engine stress also riding poser is good comfortable in city it's easy to manoeuvre in traffic. - My First KTM - Powerful and comfortableFirst time KTM owner. Wanted a bike mainly for highway touring and city rides. X plus felt balanced and practical not extreme offroad. Test ride at KTM helped decide. Always wanted a KTM but due to my tall height was waiting for a taller bike, which I got atlast Done around 4500kms already in 4 months. Very stable on highways and easily touches 150kmph. City riding is okay but heats up in traffic but that is expected because the engine is a highly compressed 400cc single cylinder. Mileage is 19-20 in city and around 28 in highways. Yes, I would recommend it for riders who want touring comfort, strong performance and balanced offroad ability. - Ktm 390 adv full comfortableOverall bike is comfortable and powerful and loaded with lots of features. Also have good milage of 20-25kml in both city and highway and some heating issue in city bummper to bummber ride in city. Also headlights are good. Shockers also fine.
