The updated 2025 Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has been launched in India, and the bike now gets some much-needed feature upgrades as well as fresh colour schemes. With the updates, the pricing has also changed, and the bike is now actually more affordable than before.

Wondering how? Well, this is thanks to GST 2.0. As per the new GST structure, two-wheelers having engines of 350cc and below attract a 18% GST as opposed to 28% in the current scheme. This will come into effect from September 22, 2025, which is also the same day when the bike goes on sale. That said, bookings and test rides are now available at all authorised dealerships. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the prices:

What Is New?
All variants of the 2025 Royal Enfield Meteor 350 will get an LED headlight. Earlier it was exclusive only for the more expensive variants and not the base models. LED headlight is more efficient than halogen ones, so it put less load on the battery. Whether it’ll be better than halogen out in the real world is something we’ll have to test and see.

Another major change is the colour updates for each variant. The Stellar variant now comes with a blacked-out exhaust instead of a chrome finish. So now, both the base Fireball and the Fireball variants come with an all-black powertrain, alloys as well as exhaust. That said, we liked the chrome finish in the earlier Stellar variant as it looked more premium.

The Aurora range is all about keeping things classic. That means spoke wheels, tasteful dual-tone retro-themed colour schemes with off-white elements. They look the best in our opinion, but sadly, they come with tubed tyres and not tubeless ones like the other variants. This will make life a bit difficult in case of a puncture. The Supernova variant comes with premium diamond-cut alloy wheels and brown-coloured seat covers.

The bike now gets a slip-and-assist clutch as standard across all variants. One of the biggest advantages is that the assist function makes the clutch lever action lighter. This will come in handy when riding in stop-go traffic, where you’ll be working the clutch a lot. The slipper function in the clutch allows the rear wheel to slip when downshifting hard and prevents the wheel from locking up - thereby giving you greater control of the bike. This will be particularly useful while riding downhill. For 2025, the brand has also offered adjustable brake and clutch levers as standard for the Supernova and Aurora variants, bringing a great level of versatility for increased rider comfort as one can change the lever travel as per one’s hand size.
Lastly, the brand has also offered a lot more features as standard for all variants. This includes the Royal Enfield tripper navigation pod as standard - a useful addition for those who want a turn-by-turn navigation feature on their motorcycle. Along with this, the brand has also offered a USB-C charging port as standard across all variants, which makes it quicker to charge your phone on the go compared to USB-A port available earlier.
Accessories Offered
The brand is now offering a new lineup of genuine accessories for the bikes, and they are divided into two kits: Urban and Grand Tourer.
With the Urban kit, you can get a flat handlebar, bar-end mirrors, a tinted fly-screen, a black finished octagon engine guard, and a black engine sump guard, along with a black low rider seat. With this kit, you can turn the bike into an ideal urban cruiser.

For touring enthusiasts, the brand has the Grand Tourer kit, which offers touring accessories such as: a thicker touring rider and pillion seat, raised touring handlebars, fog lights, engine guards, sump guard, larger rider and pillion footpegs and panniers. By grouping accessories in kits, Royal Enfield is trying to keep things simple to the buyer by offering them as per their use cases.

For a worry-free ownership experience, the brand is also offering a 3-year or 30,000km (whichever comes first) warranty as standard. Riders can also opt for the extended warranty (additional 4 years/ 40,000km), and also up to 7 years of roadside assistance for all of its Royal Enfield bikes
What remains Unchanged?
The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 will be powered by the same 349cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 20.2PS and 27Nm. The bike still features the same suspension setup comprising a telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers. The braking setup consists of a 300mm front and 270mm rear disc brake with dual-channel ABS. The engine is refined and has enough grunt to cruise at around 100kmph without much stress.
BikeDekho Says
The updates have certainly made the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 a lot more attractive than before. We think the addition of the slip-and-assist clutch will be the main change that makes a lot of difference in the riding experience. One of the biggest issues with the bike earlier was the somewhat heavy clutch action that made it a bit annoying when riding roads with heavy stop-and-go traffic. The addition of the slipper clutch should solve this issue.

Royal Enfield is known to have a great reputation for providing lovely colour schemes for its bikes, and we’re happy to report that the brand hasn’t disappointed in this latest update either. It seems that with GST 2.0-led price drops, Royal Enfield has used this opportunity to offer something more in addition to reduced prices, and this is an excellent move in our opinion as buyers can get more for less.
