The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220F is compliant with BS-IV emission norms and gets a new colour scheme along with other updated features.

Bajaj has silently rolled out its 2017 Pulsar 220F in the Indian market with the BS-IV complaint engine being the most important update in the list. The bike, now, costs around Rs 1.05 lakh (on-road, Mumbai) and gets some other updated features as well.

The visual updates can be clearly seen in the form ofthe new dual-tone colour scheme of the 2017 model along with a matte black finished exhaust muffler. Even though we have the pictures of only the black-red paint job, we believe there will be some more interesting colour options as well. Also, the bike has regained the ‘F’ suffix which was eliminated in the previous generation model.

As mentioned above, the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220F gets a BS-IV (Bharat Stage – IV) compliant engine. However, the performance remains unchanged and it continues to deliver 21PS of power and a peak torque of 19.2Nm with a carburetor type fuel system.

Other updates in the bike include the blue backlit LCD display and softer seats making your rides more comfortable. Rest of the components and cycle parts seem untouched. The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220F is already available on sale at some of the dealerships. However, the official launch of the bike is yet to be scheduled by the company.
