Bajaj Auto has already announced to launch its new bikes in its Pulsar series. The first launch is expected in March, and there will be 4 new Pulsar will be launched till June, 2015. However, the company had not announced the name of all the models, which will be launched during this period. However, we strongly believe that these models will be the the supersport styled- 200SS and 400SS, naked sport styled- 150NS and adventure sport styled- 200AS, which has been spotted testing recently. Yes! Bajaj has started testing its upcoming Pulsar 200AS in India with a fully camouflaged test mule.

The new Bajaj Pulsar 200AS is totally based on the 200NS model, which is already available in the market. There are only a few additions to the 200AS including a half fairing at the front with a big transparent visor and redesigned headlight unit. The bigger visor will result in improved aerodynamics and wind protection, making it compatible for long rides.

Apart from the platform and the body work, the semi-faired Pulsar 200AS also shares motor of the 200NS. The same 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which comes with 4-valve and triple-spark technologies. However, the company might replace the carburetor type fuel system with a fuel injection type, to achieve better fuel economy and refined performance.

Keeping all the features like digital-analog console, alloy wheels, tubeless tyres, clip-ons, split seat, 37mm front telescopic forks, Nitrox rear mono-shock, dual disc brakes and more of the 200NS, the new Pulsar 200AS might also get an optional Antilock Braking System (ABS).
