The Indigenous two wheeler manufacturer- Bajaj Auto has revealed its upcoming Pulsar 150NS at a Trade Fair in Istanbul, Turkey. Along with the model exhibition, the company also disclosed the technical specifications of the motorcycle and one of the most exciting specs is the power output of 17PS.
Propelling the new Bajaj Pulsar 150NS is a new 149.5cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with 4-valve and Triple-Spark technologies. The motor comes mated to a 5-speed transmission and uses a carburetor type fuel system. It claims to deliver power upto 16.8bhp at 9,000rpm and torque upto 13Nm at 7,500rpm.
The upcoming Pulsar 150NS is based on the existing 200NS’ platform and looks almost similar to it. Overall dimensions (length x width x height) of the bike are 2105mm x 800mm x 1220mm and it has a wheelbase of 1363mm. It weighs 144 kg and the fuel tank capacity is 12 litres. The bike runs on 17” 10-spoke alloys with 100/90 section rear and 80/100 section front tubeless tyre. The front wheel has been equipped with a petal disc brake while the rear gets a drum type unit. It has the similar telescopic forks at the front, which comes with the existing Pulsar 150, while the rear has a Nitrox mono-shock like the 200NS.
The new Bajaj Pulsar 150NS will compete with premium 150cc offerings in the market like the Yamaha FZ series, Suzuki Gixxer and Honda CB Unicorn 160 and will be priced under Rs. 75,000. However, it will get the advantages of being the most powerful motorcycle in the corresponding segment.

No vibration, perfect riding position, best performance, all rounder bike. And because I trust the bajaj and in this segment this is the best bike i bought. And the good one is gearing position, I like the design of my bike. Mileage i got on highway around 40 kml in cities 34 around, but best handling in every way. I ride the bike around 1900 km and I got the good mileage i observed there is no mileage drop in this segment. I ride around 50 km per day. Don't buy if you are not a men. Because pulsar is only for men. I would suggest this bike for every men, it is also best for college students and office mates. It attracts the whole attention of everyone. Read More

The first gen 200ns was the bike I fell in love with back then, so I always wanted one and hence got the current version of the bike. Apart from that the character of the engine and mainly the muscular timeless design and the sound...! The ride until now has been pretty pretty good, Yes there are some nacks here n there in terms of the build quality, fit n finish and some minor vibration aroun fron visor and rear seat, But the bike feels soo much emgaging to ride, everytime I'm on the bike it wants me to rev the engine all the way, and I find myself smiling inside my helmet. the major chunk of power comes above 6k rpm and that's where all the fun starts. All though the engine is much much more refined than the original 200ns but still you can feel that aggresive character in it. I feel the braking could have been better specially the organic brake pads, I think bybre was much better. And the abs kicks in a bit sooner than needed. In terms of handling this bike is such a gem, with the new usd forks its better than ever, the bike feels so like yet so stable on highways and once you get it into corners, then you can actually unleash the full potential of this machine, the chassis and dynamics are so good, the bike just flows into corners, I think bajaj can do better job for tyres as well, the bike demands 110 and 140 sections. But Bajaj being Bajaj, they had to do cost cutting so. Overal I'd say an amazing experience so far not a single moment of regret. All I have is satisfaction and the urge to get on my bike again and go out for a spin...! Okay so if you're someone who is very much into techy features and all those stuff then you should stay away, there are many other competitors who are much better. But i think that's not the purpose of this bike. This machine is for someone who just wants to have fun every time they get on the bike, someone who want to feel that rush and adrenaline surge into your veins everytime you ride the bike, someone who wants to lean how to ride fast the right way, someone who cares more about the engaging riding feel and experience rather than spec sheets filled with all the tech gizmos... You should definitely go and have a proper ride on this bike to fell all that beforehand atleast once..! Read More
