The new commuter will get the larger 115cc motor with a four-speed gearbox

Bajaj CT 110 Launch

  • The new Bajaj CT110 will be positioned between the CT100 and Platina 110.
  • It is priced at Rs 44,504 (ex-showroom Nagpur).
  • It gets the larger 115cc motor that does duty on the Platina 110 and Platina 110 H-Gear.
  • Gets cosmetic add-ons as well.

While Bajaj is yet to launch the new CT 110, it has already reached a few dealerships. The new CT 110 is a larger derivative of the CT 100 commuter motorcycle. It is expected to replace the CT 100 ES and be positioned between the CT 100 KS and Platina 100. We also expect the Platina 110 to be discontinued in the coming months, leaving the Platina 100 and Platina 110 H-Gear to represent the Platina brand. While Bajaj is yet to officially launch the 2019 CT 110, according to dealer sources the bike will be priced at Rs 44,504 (ex-showroom Nagpur) and officially be launched next month.

The CT 110 will get a new and larger motor from the Platina 110. While there are no official specification details about this 115cc powerplant, we expect it to make the same 8.6PS and 9.81Nm as the Platina 110. The transmission too is expected to be the 4-speed unit from the Platina 110 rather than the 5-speed one from the Platina 110 H-Gear

It is not just the larger motor, the CT 110 also gets cosmetic updates to differentiate it from the smaller CT 100. The new bike gets blacked out parts and alloy wheels, rubber tank pads, fork gaiters, a braced handlebar and grab rail from the Platina 110. For damping, the CT 110 continues to use the dual rear SNS shock absorbers. While the new bike gets drum brakes with combined braking, it is highly unlikely it will get a front disc brake even as an option.

The upcoming CT 110 will compete with the TVS Radeon and Hero Splendor. Stay tuned for more updates on the bike.
