Composed by the popular musician Badshah, "RayZR Mera Swag" is the new theme song for the newly-launched  Yamaha Ray-ZR scooter.

Yamaha has released a new theme song for its newly-launched scooter, the Cygnus Ray-ZR. Named “RayZR Mera Swag”, the song is composed and created by the popular rapper Badshah, and it was launched in Mumbai by the musician in the presence of Roy Kurian, vice president, sales & marketing, Yamaha Motor India. The music video was created, conceptualised, produced and distributed by Sony Music Entertainment India.

Commenting on the partnership with Badshah, Roy Kurian said, “The Cygnus Ray-ZR is a real boy’s scooter specifically targeted towards the youngsters and has been very well received since its launch. Having Badshah on board will give additional impetus to it, as he has a huge fan following and majority are youngsters. He is one of India’s finest rappers and Yamaha is very delighted to partner with him.”

First showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo, the Yamaha Ray-ZR was launched in May this year.  It is the first Yamaha scooter in India to get front disc brake as an optional extra. Targeted at young male riders, the sporty scooter gets an edgy style that makes it stand apart from the crowd.

Powering the Ray-ZR is the same 113cc air-cooled motor that powers the entire Yamaha scooter fleet in the country. The carbureted engine makes 7.1PS at 7,500rpm and delivers a peak torque of 8.1Nm at 5,500rpm. It uses the company's patented “Blue Core” technology for better efficiency and claims to return a best-in-class fuel economy of 66kmpl. Available in two trims, standard and disc brake, the scooter has been priced at Rs 52,000 and Rs 54,200 respectively (both ex-showroom, Delhi).

Excellent mileage

If anyone is looking for a good mileage scooter, this would be the best option you may have in market. Also go with the street rally edition because it looks very good. Yamaha has a bit expensive parts but this scooter parts are quite cheap in price which makes this good option. Overall experience with this bike is good.

value of money

The Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid offers a 99kg lightweight frame that makes city flicking effortless. The hybrid engine provides punchy low-end torque and impressive real-world mileage of 55–65 kmpl. While sporty and agile, its LCD is basic and the under seat storage is tight for large helmets and finally good for performance.

The Yamaha ride

This scooter is no less than a bike, as it has 125 cc engine and can run really fast on city roads. I am a student and it really is satisfying and sufficient for me to ride this scooter from home to my classes and college. The mileage is also superb and it does not need much maintenance cost. There is just one problem, that there is no problem.
