Ather Energy Expands To Jaipur With A New Dealership

The brand has already commenced test rides of the Ather 450X and 450 Plus in the city

Ather Energy doesn't seem to be going slow with its massive expansion plan. After opening a new dealership in Pune and in Ahmedabad, the brand has now begun its onslaught in Rajasthan with a showroom in Jaipur. The Ather 450X has been priced at Rs 1.59 lakh, while the 450 Plus will set you back by Rs 1.40 lakh.

The Ather 450X is powered by a 6kW PMSM motor and a 2.9kWh lithium-ion battery. In addition to the Eco, Ride and Sport modes, the e-scooter also has a Warp mode that propels the bike from 0 to 40kmph in just 3.3 seconds. But is it a good replacement to your regular scooter? Ather’s Jaipur dealership will open next month at Tonk Road, near Durgapur flyover, but the brand has commenced early test rides already after witnessing a surge in enquiries. Ather is also in the process of setting up 3-4 Ather Grids (fast charging stations) in the next one month and doubling the count by the end of this year.

Ather also has an assured buyback offer for its customers. Under the program, the customer will get Rs 85,000 at the end of three years. Then there’s also the unique leasing program that allows buyers to pay the downpayment and continue paying the monthly subscription fee till the end of the lease period.
