Ather 450 Plus Receives A Price Cut, Buyback Scheme Introduced

The offers are applicable on the 450X and 450 Plus electric scooters
Ather has slashed the price of the 450 Plus electric scooter to Rs 1,39,990; a drop of Rs 10,000. Along with the price drop, Ather is offering a buyback program for its scooters. Previously, it had announced an exchange scheme where you can exchange your petrol-powered two wheeler for a discount on a new Ather electric scooter.

Under the new buyback scheme, you can sell your old Ather 450X scooter back to the company for Rs 85,000. Besides the new buyback offer, Ather has made its battery subscription plan more flexible. There are now 4 subscription plans on offer: Ather Connect Lite (for all basic connected features), Ather Connect Pro, Ather Service Lite (periodic maintenance, RSA and labour) and Ather Service Pro (premium service experience). The most affordable Ather Connect Lite package starts from Rs 125 per month. Ather is also offering free charging for its scooters on the Ather Grid upto March 2021.

The one-of its kind buyback programs does sweeten the deal for potential customers reluctant to buy a premium electric scooter due to unknown resale value.
