Another Splendor Joins The Xtec Family

More tech and better features, the Hero Super Splendor Xtec is a more wholesome package now

Hero has launched the Super Splendor Xtec for Rs 83,368 for the drum brake variant and Rs 87,268 for the disc brake variant, both prices ex-showroom Delhi. 

The new LED headlamp and an LED DRL are the two most noticeable changes on the new Super Splendor Xtec. Next is a new fully-digital LCD console that replaces the rather dated-looking three-pod instrument cluster. It looks the same as the Hero Splendor Xtec and is Bluetooth-compatible, giving you access to information such as SMS call alerts, real-time mileage, side-stand engine cut-off, bank angle sensor and more.

One final update on the bike is Xtec branding and graphics on its fuel tank.

Its 11PS and 10.6Nm 125cc single-cylinder engine has remained unchanged and so have the bike’s underpinnings. Now while these updates give the Super Splendor a lot more wholesome, giving the bike a much-needed modern touch. The Rs 4,250 premium is decent considering the kind of extra features the bike offers. It rivals the Honda Shine, Bajaj Pulsar 125 and the Bajaj CT 125X.
