From old-school two-stroke beauties to screaming supersports, Thala’s got it all
Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s love for motorcycles is a bit of an open secret. The world cup-winning former captain of the Indian cricket team has an enormous collection of motorcycles, particularly two-stroke classic beauties from bygone decades. But we've never been able to get a good look at what's inside Thala's enormous two-story building where he keeps his bikes. A video of the same, has now finally surfaced on the internet.
A fully-faired Yamaha sports bike that appears to be a previous-gen YZF-R6 can be seen at the start of the video. A few other two-stroke motorcycles from manufacturers including Yezdi, Jawa and BSA are seen as the video goes. Captain Cool’s collection also includes other icons like a modified Yamaha RD350 (which he has been spotted riding multiple times) and the Royal Enfield Bullet.
The latest addition to this list was the TVS Ronin, which he got home earlier last month. Talking about the Ronin, TVS recently unveiled four rad-looking modified Ronins at the Motosoul last week. But don’t let this collection believe you that Dhoni likes his bikes old-school and easy-going. He owns two-wheeled monsters like the Kawasaki Ninja H2 and the ZX-14R. He even has exotics like the Confederate X132 Hellcat and the Ducati 1098 in his garage.
