A New Bike Riding Concept from Harley Davidson India

With an objective of giving tough competition to existing bikes in Indian bike market, the cult and International bike manufacturing company Harley Davidson is speculating on totally a new concept known as Leisure riding and soon it will start its implementation in the different cities of India. That means in coming months the bike known for its powerful performance and unique looks will become the synonym of leisure riding in the country.

According to the reliable sources from Harley Davidson said that Harley Davidson intends to make the Davidson’s bike to everyone who is keen to enjoy the pleasure of riding Harley Davidson Bike. In the current scenario the craze behind the premium sports superbike is spreading rapidly among the youth who consider bike as an important variant reflecting  their personality. The sources further added that the rapid demand for branded products depicts the progressive picture of India of 21st century and to Harley Davidson is determined to fulfill this demand by introducing this new concept in market.

At present after launching the wide range of Harley Davidson Bikes in India the International bike firm is facing cut throat competition in Indian market due to various renowned International bike manufacturing company making debut in the Indian bike market. This has opened the way wide range of options to the  buyers. The major bikes launched by Harley Davidson in India are Harley Davidson Sportster, Harley Davidson Dyna, Harley Davidson VRSC, Harley Davidson Softail and Harley Davidson Touring, all these bikes were demonstrated in Auto Expo held in India during 2010 and now these variants of different bikes are available in market for sale.

The major threat to Harley Davidson is from another International bike making company Triumph Motorcycles which is finding the options of expanding its market in India. At present Triumph Motorcycles is in direct competition with Harley Davidson in various countries.

There are reports that with an objective of attracting customers towards the wide range of Harley Davidson bike, the company soon after its entrance in Indian bike market signed an alliance with ICICI Bank to finance the different bikes of the company. According to MOU signed between both the  parties ICICI Bank will provide the loan upto 85% to the customers interested to buy any brand of Harley Davidson bike at an interest of 11% annually for five years. Thus after paying the 15% of the total price the buyers can purchase the HD bike of their choice.
