2025 TVS Orbiter: Your ULTIMATE BUYING Guide

From price to specifications, comparisons and more, here's everything you need to know about the new TVS Orbiter electric scooter

The TVS Orbiter is the newest electric scooter from the brand. It’s the third electric scooter, after the iQube and the X. However, this one is the cheapest, and is meant more for practicality, rather than performance with sharp styling. It is sold only in one variant, which makes the buying choice easy for potential buyers. A fun fact – the Orbiter’s claimed range is higher than what the base variant of the iQube has, despite being slightly more affordable. Weird, right? Well, if you’re confused, here’s a comprehensive buying guide for the new TVS Orbiter:

TVS Orbiter Launch Report

The TVS Orbiter was launched in India on August 28, at Rs 99,000 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). Missed the launch? Our detailed launch story explains everything about the TVS’ new electric scooter.

TVS Orbiter Colours Explained

The 2025 TVS Orbiter is available in 6 colour schemes, all of which are dual-tone. We have described how they look in our explainer story with images.

Popular Comparisons

TVS Orbiter vs TVS iQube

More than anything else, the TVS Orbiter’s biggest rival seems to be its own sibling – TVS iQube

For starters, the base variants of both the electric scooters are priced under Rs 1 lakh. We compare them to find out which one is the better scooter to buy.

However, if features are your preference, the Orbiter rivals the iQube 2.2kWh variant, which gets more goodies than its base variant.

And if that’s still not enough for you to make a decision, we have a detailed comparison between the Orbiter and the entire iQube range.

TVS Orbiter vs Ola S1X 4kWh

Another scooter to compare the Orbiter with, is the Ola S1 X, especially its 4kWh variant. One is utility-oriented, while the other is a somewhat sporty electric scooter. The Ola is priced a bit higher, but has more features and performance. We have broken down what they get, so that you can choose which one to buy between them.

TVS Orbiter vs Ather Rizta

Both of these are family electric scooters, and match almost evenly. However, there are a few key differences between them that you need to know before you take your pick.

Stay tuned to this story for more comparison reviews and explainers on the new TVS Orbiter.

Go for it , It's a good bike

Good pickup, stylish design as the colour combination looks futuristic. TVS is a big brand, so service is very good and easy to find. Built quality is also one of the good reason to pickup this bike. It gives great experience. The range is a big concern while going to college. Except that, everything is very good like the pickup while overtaking vehicles, durability during pot-holes and a suspension works good. Yes, If you are looking for good service, take a look of this, may be the price and range doesn't match but the service and experience is very good. So I recommend this bike for short range travellers who don't want ot take risk.Read More

My Orbitor experience

I just wanted to reduce my fuel cost which was about Rs.2500-3000 per month, Navigation feature of this machine as I can track my son's position while he is driving. Its suspension gives the great comfort ride. I have riding Orbitor almost 1000Km in one month, its cruise mode is good, because of accelerator sometimes hand suffer a lot but cruise mode make rides really easy specially on highway. CITY mode is powerful but quick battery consumer. Yes, I have recommended many of my friends, one of my friend daily travel around 100km range and I told him to buy this as it will cut down his fuel cost. Moreover, now we need to shift in green because of harm to environment. Read More

ORBITER - The Best scooter to buy in 2026.

Motor and looks are very impressive. This is my first electric scooter and I am very much satisfied. Got a good assistance from showroom as well. Scooter ride is very smooth and tyre size looks good as well. Ride is very impressive till today, I took v1 version and sometimes facing problem with range of I have to ride for long. Handling is very impressive and colours combination is very funky. Love this bike till now. Yes I will definitely recommend this scooter looking at the price bucket and the features. A big competitors of rizta and I think this would be on the higher side to that. Better go for version V2 for better range.Read More

#JustOrbiterThings😁

This bike is from a highly reputed brand which is the main reason for it to be choosen. Secondly, I have also bought TVS IQube earlier so I came back, And best part is the mobile charging slot nearby. Highly comfortable and smooth ride with perfect speed hold and pickup as required. Felt like in air with no jerks or bumps. Very easy handling and can be fixed by anyone easily without any complexity. Highly recommended as it is highly price effective and nature efficient also. It's lights look awesome and it's spacious under seat storage and display screen make it so special as compared to others.Read More
