    Quick Highlights:

    • Suzuki has launched the 2025 V-Strom 800DE in India

    • The bike is now OBD-2B compliant and gets a new colour scheme

    • Price remains the same at 10,30,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi)

Suzuki has launched the 2025 V-Strom 800DE in India. The bike now gets a new colour scheme and complies with the latest emission norms. It still makes the same amount of power and torque as before.

    More Colour Options

The 2025 Suzuki V-Strom 800DE is now available in a total of 3 colours: Champion Yellow No.2, Glass Sparkle Black, and the new  Pearl Tech White scheme. The new white colour scheme is complemented by blue-accented body panels and blue alloy wheels, which, in our opinion, look quite good.

Apart from the new colour scheme, the previous two colours have been updated as well. The iconic Champion Yellow No.2 colour replaces golden-coloured wheels with blue-coloured ones and blue body panels for black. Meanwhile, the Glass Sparkle Black, too, replaces the blue panels with black ones and gold-coloured wheels for black.

    Japanese Smoothness Throughout

The V-Strom 800DE is still powered by the same 776cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, which makes 84.3PS and 78Nm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch and a bidirectional quickshifter. The engine now complies with the latest OBD-2B emission norms.

As for the underpinnings, the V-Strom 800DE gets a Showa inverted fork with a 220mm stroke and a Showa monoshock with 220 rear wheel travel. It gets twin 310mm discs at the front and a single disc at the rear, with switchable dual-channel ABS. The disc brakes are mounted to a  21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheel setup, fitted with 90-section front and 150-section rear tubed tyres from Dunlop. The ground clearance is 220mm, the seat height is 855mm, and the kerb weight is 230kg.

    Same Suzuki, Same Tech

As for the features, the list remains the same as it is equipped with vertically-stacked hexagonal LED headlights with LED indicators and tail light. The Suzuki features a 5-inch TFT console with day and night display modes, and also gets a USB charging port on the left side of the console. The windscreen is height adjustable for 3 steps. The Vstrom 800DE also gets the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.) with three riding modes: Active, Basic, and Comfort, and 2 levels of traction control.

    BikeDekho Says

Suzuki has done the bare minimum to keep the bike relevant in India in 2025. The bike remains mechanically unchanged, it gets new colour schemes, is compliant with the latest emission norms and has the same price tag. Sure, it is more affordable than its rival, the Honda XL750 Transalp (priced at Rs 10,99,990 ex-showroom) by Rs 69,990. We would have liked Suzuki to give the V-Strom 800DE some much-needed updates, such as tubeless-spoked wheels or even adjustable suspension, which would have been a nice touch.

      Value for money
Best adventure bike in this price range. It's underrated and somewhat cost less than Transalp. Weight of bike doesn't feel, thanks to its low centre of gravity. If you want a mile muncher with off road capabilities, then go for it! Suspensions are also adjustable with rebound and compression damping. It will be the best bike you will buy.

      It's more than worth
The bike is much comfortable. It will give Best vibe for adventure bike. It's more worth to buy in india bcz of the Indian roads. I went to ladakh trip like 1200kms and it's so comfortable and also has good mileage. In this price range I think it will be more practical to buy this bike. In this segment the bike's maintenance cost is also not that much.
