The 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z has started arriving at dealerships, and the bike now features two major updates. It gets sintered brake pads instead of organic brake pads, and along with this, the bike now also gets a fatter rear tyre. Here’s a brief breakdown of everything that’s new:
One of the biggest problems we had with the bike was the rather poor braking performance because of the organic brake pads. Bajaj has finally decided to make the much needed correction to this, by introducing sintered brake pads in the 2025 model. This will go a long way in improving braking performance and stopping power as the material used in sintered pads are better than organic pads.
Another change that has come with the 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is the addition of new Apollo Alpha H1 tyres (radial tyres at both ends). Earlier the bike came with MRF REVZ-S tyres (radial only at the rear), so compared to that, the new Apollos should offer better grip on the road. The rear tyre’s size has also been increased. Earlier the bike got a 140-section rear tyre, but it now comes with a fatter 150-section rubber. Overall, these changes will help make the bike a lot more capable, including on the corners.
Though the bike offered plenty of performance, its handling wasn’t really up to the mark. But now with the better brakes and tyres, the flagship Pulsar should be a lot better to ride. However, we’ll be able to give our final verdict only after we ride the motorcycle.
We expect the bike to cost around Rs 10,000 more than the 2024 model. For perspective, the 2024 Pulsar NS400Z costs Rs 1,81,318 (ex-showroom, Delhi). If our price guess is right, it will still be the most affordable bike in India that makes 40PS. We expect the bike to be launched in the next couple of weeks.
Other than the addition of the new sintered brake pads and the new tyres, the rest of the bike remains the same. It is still powered by the same 373cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine which outputs 40PS and 35Nm. The bike will compete with other 400cc bikes in the market such as the KTM 390 Duke, Triumph Speed 400 and the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450.

I saw that it had eyes like wolf and design like a lion and i like beast looking bikes man and I love the 373cc engine and it's sounds like a roar, over all i chose this bike because this is the newest 400 segment best bike in my opinion.
