Apart from this, the other notable changes that the 2019 Gixxer are the split seats and a rear tyre hugger.
The 155cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, air-cooled motor is the same as seen on the 2019 Gixxer SF. This engine belts out 14.1PS at 8,000rpm and 14Nm of torque at 6,000rpm, and is mated to a 5-speed transmission. The frame is suspended on a 41mm telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Stopping power comes from disc brakes at either ends, with single-channel ABS offered as a standard fitment.
