The Japanese two-wheeler giant, Yamaha has unveiled its updated motorcycle range for 2014. Updated range includes Yamaha YZF-R1, R6 and R125, Yamaha FJR1300, Yamaha Zuma 50F, Yamaha Star Cruiser and an all new Yamaha FZ-09, to replace the Yamaha FZ-8. Let's figure out what is new in these motorbikes.

2014 Yamaha YZF-R1, YZF-R6 and YZF-R125 features a 'Race-Blu series' offering amazing Blue-Black dual tone paint job. There are no other changes in the bikes except YZF-R1. The new R1 features a MotoGP developed 7-level traction control system and cross-plane crankshaft technology in the engine.

Yamaha FJR1300 will be known as FJR1300ES in 2014, the ES stands for Electronic Suspensions. Yes, the new variant will come with electronically adjustable suspensions, featuring four preloaded modes including three different settings as soft, standard and hard, which will increase the comfort of this super-sport tourer in different riding conditions. The modes are one-up, one-up with luggage, two-up and two-up with luggage.

The electronically adjustable suspension function adjusts the damping force of the front suspension and the preload and damping force of the rear suspension in a comprehensive way, which maintains proper balance between the two suspensions. The suspension can be controlled through a switch gear provided on the handle bar.

The new 2014 variant added to Yamaha Zuma 50F is Yamaha Zuma 50FX. The new variant has got exciting new racing graphics and colour options. A stylish single headlamp has taken the place of two round headlamps. The other technical specifications will remain unchanged.

The 2014 Yamaha Star Cruiser line has not been updated technically but cosmetically. The new model will get a all Matte Iron Black theme on all the components of the bike.

Now, here comes the new star of the Yamaha family, Yamaha FZ09, which will take the place of FZ-8. The bike has got a new and different Naked Motard mass forward theme, which makes it different from other FZ series bikes.

The naked sport bike features an all new 847cc, three cylinder,12-valve, liquid cooled engine equipped with Yamaha Chip Controlled- Throttle (YCC-T), Yamaha D-mode and a cross-plane crank.

Assembled in a slim and light weight chassis, it churns out a maximum power of 115bhp and a peak torque of 85Nm.
