Harley Davidson, the renowned American cruiser motorcycle manufacturer has recently recalled its 1,85,272 bikes due to a major saddlebag issue. The company found out that the saddlebags in these bikes were not properly mounted due to which, they may separate anytime from the bike leading to some serious hazard. The manufacturer has accepted that the faultily mounted saddlebags on the motorcycle can put the rider’s safety under risk.

Harley-Davidson has recalled the motorcycles in United States and since these machines in India are being sold through the Completely Built Up (CBU) route, the Harleys running on the Indian roads may also be involved in this. However, the domestic division of Harley-Davidson has not said anything yet regarding this, which might be the possibility that the bikes imported to India are free from such defect. The motorcycles that were found unsound in the saddlebag issue are the 2014-2015 Road King, Street Glide, Street Glide Special, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Ultra Limited, Police Road King, Police Electra Glide, CVO Ultra Limited, 2014 CVO Road King, 2015 Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low, Ultra Limited Low, Road Glide, Road Glide Special, CVO Street Glide, and CVO Road Glide Ultra.

Stay tuned with us to know whether the company announces the recall in India or the customers of Harley Davidson here are riding flawless and safe machines.
