Honda VFR

Honda launched its stunning tour bike denominated as Honda VFR 1200F in India, back in 2014. This bike has created a benchmark in the tour motorcycle section of India. The bike is propelled by an advanced four-stroke, liquid-cooled, UNICAM 76° V4 engine mated to a six-speed transmission system. It develops a maximum power of 170.3 bhp at 10000 RPM with a peak torque of 129 Nm at 8,750 RPM. The manufacturer has also implemented a dual-clutch automatic transmission, first of its kind in a bike.

Honda's first tourer bike in India proudly expedites on 120/70 ZR17 front and 190/55 ZR17 rear tubeless tyres fitted with fashionable aluminium alloys. Furthermore, it is equipped with powerful 320mm, 6-piston caliper dual discs at the front and 276mm, twin-piston caliper hydraulic disc at the rear end, which provides better stopping power. Besides this, company has also furnished it with CBS (Combined Braking System) and ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), both the braking systems promise to provide fantabulous stability even under strict braking conditions.

Honda VFR 1200F is furnished with a unique throttle-by-wire technology mated to Programmed Fuel Injection System (PGM-Fi) which provides a sharp throttle response and sufficient power. It is also configured with a slipper clutch that locks the rear wheel in case of aggressive downshifts. Apart from this, it has an exhaust system which comes with a short-sporty silencer that makes it look more amazing and appealing.

The body structure of this bike makes it one of the most good-looking bike among the other super bikes on the planet. The front profile of the bike is headed by an elegant and sharp headlamp unit. It is also equipped with clear lens indicators which are mounted to the rear view mirrors which making it more robust and appealing. The motorcycle comes with a Layered Front Fairing concept which prevents the rider from excessive heat. Its sharply designed fuel tank has a capacity of 18.5 liters. Coming to rear section, for the comfort purpose of rider as well as pillion the company has configured it with a sporty step-up seat. Apart from this, it has a black colored rear grab tail along with a short and trimmed exhaust unit.

Bolted on a diamond aluminium twin-spar frame, Honda VFR1200F has an overall dimensions 2250 mm in length, 755 mm in width, 1220 mm in height along with a wheelbase of 1545 mm which provides it an agile handling. The weight of the bike is 267 kg and the ground clearance is the sits at 125 mm. The instrument cluster of the bike is the most marvelous part which gives easy access to all the information consisting of a digital speedometer, trip-meter, fuel gauge and an analogue tachometer.

This bike has good braking system that comes with Honda's Combined Braking System and a high-performance ABS unit. It is one and only bike which comes with a dual clutch automatic transmission system in it as an optional feature. The mill pumps out a maximum power of 170.3 bhp at 10000 RPM with a peak torque of 129 Nm at 8750 RPM. Besides this, it is furnished with PGM-Fi electronic fuel injection system along with throttle-wire technology which promises to provide a crisp throttle response with a steady power delivery. It comes with a compression ratio of 12:1 and a bore-to-stroke ratio of 81mm x 60mm.

Honda VFR 1200F moves on 120/70 ZR17 front and 190/55 ZR17 rear tubeless tyres which are mounted on tough alloy wheels. This bike comes with a strong 320mm dual floating hydraulic disc with 6-piston calipers up-front and 276mm hydraulic disc with 2-piston caliper at the rear end providing a strong stopping power. Besides this, the company also loaded it with the Combined Braking System, which is incorporated with a high-performance Anti-Lock Braking System. Both the braking systems ensure excellent braking under strict conditions. Moreover, the suspension system consists of 43mm cartridge type telescopic fork with stepless preload adjustment at the front and Pro-link with gas-charged damper, 25-step preload and stepless rebound damping adjustment at the rear.
