Honda Livo [2020-2024]

The Honda Livo is a 110cc commuter bike and the successor to the Honda CB Twister. The Honda Livo is sold alongside the Honda CD 110 Dream in the brand’s motorcycle portfolio. With a trademark Honda design, easy manoeuvrability, and an efficiency-oriented engine, the Honda Livo makes for a well-rounded city commuter motorcycle.  

Honda Livo Price:

The Honda Livo is available in two variants: Drum and Disc. The Livo Drum is priced at Rs. 78,500, while the Livo Disc is priced at Rs. 82,500 (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi). In terms of colour options, the Honda Livo is offered in three different colour options to choose from: Black, Athletic Blue Metallic, and Matt Crust Metallic.  

Honda Livo Engine:                              

The Honda Livo is powered by a BS6. 2-compliant 109. 51cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected motor, that churns out 8. 79 PS @ 7,500 rpm and 9. 30 Nm @ 5,500 rpm. The powertrain is paired with a 4-speed transmission. The bike comes with an ACG starter motor system that helps the engine start silently without a jolt.

Honda Livo Suspension & Brakes:

The Honda Livo is built on a diamond-type frame and features a telescopic fork at the front and a dual-spring shock absorber with 5-step pre-load adjustability. The braking setup consists of a 240 mm disc (in the disc variant) or a 130 mm drum at the front and a 130 mm drum at the rear. The bike gets 80/100-18 tubeless tyres at the front and the rear with a combi brake system (CBS) that distributes optimal braking force at both ends, ensuring a shorter braking distance.

The Honda Livo comes with a ground clearance of 163mm, which helps in overcoming speed breakers and has a seat height of 790 mm. It comes with a fuel tank capacity of 9 litres and a kerb weight of 113 kg.  

Honda Livo Features:

The Honda Livo comes with a semi-digital instrument console that offers all the basic riding information, including the speed, distance travelled, real-time mileage, low-fuel indicator, average mileage indicator, and service due indicator, among others. The bike also features an engine start/stop switch and side-stand engine cut-off functionality.

Honda Livo Rivals:

The Honda Livo goes up against the likes of the Hero Passion XTEC, TVS Star City Plus and also the Hero Super Splendor, which is slightly powerful, but comes in the same price range. One can also go for the more expensive top-end variant of TVS Radeon for features like a fully digital cluster and USB charging or the top-of-the-line model of Bajaj Platina 110, which comes with ABS at a relatively less expensive price tag.
